    I am working on finding a way to protect the file download in addition to the delivery page. Something along the lines of an expiring download link. I will post in this thread as soon as I make it work for myself (probably by next weekend as I'm bogged down with work).

    Many have mentioned there are retail products you can purchase to achieve the level of product protection you need, and I think if you are unsure with your ability to implement these methods (and I offer no warranty), you should go that route. However, I feel the best way to improve your skills is to learn by doing :) hence I would rather find a solution on my own instead of purchasing a retail product.

    Can't you buy dlguard through your own affiliate link and get it 1/2 price? It is tried, tested, true, and easy. I am a big fan.

    Just did a google on 'thanks.html' and saw a ton of product out there!

    This should be made as a sticky or added to the ClickBank tutorial....Good job!

    Here's another tip on protection. Add the below parameter to your body tag to prevent people from obtaining your content in a "select and copy" fashion. I realize this is more of a deterrent than 100% fullproof but it is useful.

    <body ondragstart="return false" onselectstart="return false">

    Guys, the script is gr8t! If someone just visits the 'Thanyoupage', he/she get redirected to my specfied page. fantastic! However, there still remain the option of someone just bookmarking or copying the full URL with all the clickbank encrypted secret key elements(cbpop, cb receipt etc.) and later coming back to fill the order page/downloading the doc.

    Can time session expiry be added onto it? Like the URL will expire after 30mins?

    Thnks.

    Nice script for any newbie out their.

    Hint: To go further one should make a system where the first time the user buy he is redirected to the download page and a check is done directly with the google statistics (They have a web service to do this)

    Then, after the first time visit (when thers no secret key passes from checkout page) if a user go to the download page they are asked to enter their receipt id in a form, once done, it must be validated with the google statistics once again (and check if the transaction have been refunded)

    This should keep most folks abay and minimize any issues with the genuine buyer:)

    -----------------------
    At the end of the day when people buy they can just share the book itself so sometimes it is of no use to work too much on protecting download pages....

    I used something called Virtual Vault but wasnt' convinced of its security. It locks the individual file.
