What Is A Fair Setup Fee By A Professional PPC Company & Monthly Management

    * Is 1000 dollars too much as setup fee and 500 monthly

    * If they tell you told that they will sign in every 3 hours to check on things is standard practice expected among ppc companies for the 1st 3 months is this really necessary to check in every 3 hours and can this be tracked by my google adwords account every time someone one signs to check can i see that someone is signing in every 3 hours

    * A great ppc person What should I expect from them for this kind of money and what should i ask them before i sign

    * What is the most hardest part of the initial setup phase, what should be done before setup is it keyword research, spying, etccc - is this something I can do myself or hire someone else to do just certain tasks like competition research and keyword research on my niche market

    Hello,

It depends... what is your industry/niche? How many keywords are you targeting? Do you want to advertise on display network too? How much do you want to spend in a month? etc.
I think the fee you mentioned is a little bit high, but I don't know about US service fees. It could be OK in case of a very large campaign and a big amount of spent money.
You can't check sign-ins, but you can check modifications.

Ask the team about references and certification partner status.

The hardest part is building a good campaign-ad group-keyword structure, which converts sales and makes higher ROI. Writing ad texts for example is easier, but you have to measure and test the results.

If you need a bit more help, contact me in private message!

    Brgds,

Depends on the niche and the research involved plus the time involved setting up your account. it can be from 30 min to couple hrs / days. in that case 1000 is not a big amount but again it depends on the niche, until you tell the exact details I cannot predict however if a company is asking for 1000$ setup fee without knowing your project details then its a lie.

this is not real as always. the adword's reporting is not real time, it takes more than 3 hrs to reflect the actual data. Plus just in 3 hrs there isn't much data collected to analyze and make changes until you are spending $$$ an hour. Once or twice a day is more than enough. logging in each 3 hrs most likly to be a marketing hype. quality work should not be hyped.

No you cannot track the login attempt to your account done via an MCC (MCC=Multi client center used by we as professionals) but you can track each and every change made by them by looking at the change history. if it shows changes (Relevant changes, not just few edits to show you that someone is doing something) you can assume that someone is looking at it .

In PPC a track re-cord might not be the perfect thing to look at when choosing your PPC person, its just depends too much on factors which varies from case to cases, if someone is doing good for one niche, might not do well for another.

You should be looking at their commitment to handle the account,
you should be looking at how many people is going to handle your account, one or 2 is fine but if its more than that i would doubt if the account is being touched just as formality or something serious is going on.
you should be looking at what suggestions they offer for your landing page. in 9 out of 10 cases, the landing page on your website needs to be adjusted for PPC to work correctly and give max output. if no edit or minimum edit is suggested, they probably only care about driving traffic ,not driving sales.

that's just my 2 cents. others opinion might vary however as an Adwords consultant, this is what i would do/suggest .

There are actually some ways to set up. I mean there are companies that pull all keywords (related and not) and include them i one campaign. They don't care about your spendings and saving. And there are companies that make even seperate campaign for EACH keyword. They also optimize your website pages for these ads. The structure must be like keyword in campaign>>>the same keyword in ad>>>the same keywords on your page then you may get $0.02 clicks.

So if they charge you $1000 then ask what is included, do they optimise pages, do they make seperate ad groups for each keyword, how many keywords they will get

2 cent clicks are doable but not as easy as outlines in the steps you mentioned. Here is one (Not in theory but in reality - One of my campaigns) (Look at the CPC)
