Pros & Cons of using several domains for one site

    I have several domain names that are similar and I have them all pointed to the same site. I realize that there are pros and cons to doing this.

    The primary domain I use for the site is: HangoverPictures.com

    But I also use the following domain names that are directed to the same content on my server:
    HangoverPics.com
    HangoverPicture.com
    MyHangoverPics.com

    My main concern is how this will affect my rankings in search engines in particular Google? I don't want my primary domain name "HangoverPictures.com" being penalized.

    Is there content on the other sites, or are you just redirecting the domain name of them to your site?

    If you are redirecting them without any content then there should be no issue for SEO, but unless they are sites that used to have links pointed at them, then they will most likely not give you any SEO benefit.
