Proper use of articles for SEO (off site or on site)

So I have a niche site that consists of highly competitive keywords (main keyword has 65,800,000 results in google). I have already done some deep seo work and slowly but surely climbing the ranks. In a recent effort I will be creating about 50 articles pertaining to my niche and am a bit confused on how I should properly use them. Below I have the three methods I am debating on and would love to hear out some of your thoughts.

    Method (A)
Create a category on site called "Industry Articles" and use all the articles on site linking all keywords to the category they pertain to.

    Method (B)
Create an industry related blog (using an already registered domain i have) and submit all the articles on the blog back linking to the site I'm optimizing.

    Method (C)
Perform both A + B. (worried about duplicate content issue though)

I'll appreciate all feedback given, Thanks In Advance!!!

You do mention that you have 50 articles right? For me, I would choose and split 20 articles focused on method A and another 20 on method B. Then I will gauge the effectiveness and use the balance 10 on whichever method is best.

To track the effectiveness I simply gauge the traffic I'm getting to the actual site via the article pages vs the traffic being sent from the created blog correct?

I would hate to loose 20 articles on the experiment but I does sound like an option.

I would imagine you might benefit from putting some articles on blog domains that are actually on a major blog domain, this way the articles can have some weight passed over to your site rather than starting on a domain that probably doesnt have a page rank.

If you had, for instance, a wordpress or blogspot, their site is so strong that a link from these could be beneficial to you straight away

In other words If I submit the article to an off site and use it on site as well you predict I wont have duplicate content issues??

Gotcha! So in the event I was to submit the articles to an off site I will be better off submitting them to an already established industry related blog correct rather then my newly created blog.

In addition to the above options what are your opinions in regards to maybe hiring one of the many article submission services here on DP to submit the articles for me and also add the articles to the site I'm optimizing??
