i'm sorry, but im not going to debug data when i do not know what is being requested. and had you been not so lazy and told sql exactly what you wanted, it might give you a better description in your error messages and help the debugging process further. you have no problem asking for help but you don't want to help yourself and the people who are looking at your code. your laziness rolled over onto me, what can i say.
Umm... mate, I'm not the one asking the original question: in fact, I'm the one that has spent the most time on trying to answer the question. My laziness rolled over onto you did it? You didn't even have the ability to work out who is asking the original question, who is making an effort to answer and who, exactly, is having a go at you for just posting a link that doesn't help. Am I totally missing the point here or have you actually confused me with the OP?
yeah my mistake. i was confusing you with the person who started the thread but then again, you are the one who was pointing me out. and as far as i am concerned, the link i posted was of a great help to him as he is using select *. whether he uses it or not is up to him.
