    Can I have 2 title tags for an image link? One for the <a> tag and one for the <img> tag?

    <a href="http://www.carbonfiberhoods.com" title="SEIBON">
    <img src="http://www.carbonfiberhoods.com/seibon.jpg" title="SEIBON" alt="SEIBON">
    </a>

    PHP:
    So I have one link with 2 title tags containing my keyword "SEIBON" and 1 alt tag containing "SEIBON" and the image "seibon.jpg". I'm trying to build up SERP ranking for the word SEIBON , my site is carbonfiberhoods so I don't get the advantage of having it in my domain name url, however I do have a page my URL / SEIBON with pictures and text relating to SEIBON.

    Question 1: "Can I have 2 title tags per link like so? is the A HREF title tag even doing anything?"

    Question 2: Does naming your images relevant to your keyword help? for instance naming my image "seibon.jpg" instead of "2342423.jpg".

    I don't think SE are using title tag for ranking factor. They only read alt for images. For link title tag is ok. But i don't think they play any role in SE ranking.

    Well the page you have created for Seibon is not in still Google cache. Try to build more good quality high PR links with that one word.

    Google didn't mentioned anything about image Title consideration for ranking and SERPs. But anyhow, the method you are trying to use does not look tricky and can be used only if you are applying this technique on minimum level. Don't SPAM your way out for search engines.

    Hope this helps.
