I have just loaded a new wordpress theme onto my website and am currently editing it to make it look better. My articles have pictures in with the text but i am having problems because the text is directly next to the text. http://total-watches.com/?p=21 I have tried adding a border to the image but it wont work. What is wrong and how do i fix it? Thanks in advance!
Here is the actual code for the article: <blockquote></blockquote> <!--[if gte vml 1]><v:shapetype id="_x0000_t75" coordsize="21600,21600" o:spt="75" o:preferrelative="t" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" filled="f" stroked="f"> <v:stroke joinstyle="miter"/> <v:formulas> <v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"/> <v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"/> <v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"/> <v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"/> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"/> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"/> <v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"/> <v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"/> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"/> <v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"/> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"/> <v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"/> </v:formulas> <v:path o:extrusionok="f" gradientshapeok="t" o:connecttype="rect"/> <o:lock v:ext="edit" aspectratio="t"/> </v:shapetype><v:shape id="_x0000_s1026" type="#_x0000_t75" style='position:absolute; margin-left:0;margin-top:27pt;width:109.45pt;height:2in;z-index:1; mso-wrap-edited:f;mso-position-horizontal:absolute;mso-position-vertical:absolute' wrapcoords="-47 0 -47 21564 21600 21564 21600 0 -47 0"> <v:imagedata src="TagHeuer" o:title=""/> <div style="float: left; margin: 5px;">/path/to/image/</div> <w:wrap type="tight"/> </v:shape><![endif]--><!--[if !vml]--> <p class="MsoNormal"><!--[if gte vml 1]><v:shapetype id="_x0000_t75" coordsize="21600,21600" o:spt="75" o:preferrelative="t" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" filled="f" stroked="f"> <v:stroke joinstyle="miter"/> <v:formulas> <v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"/> <v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"/> <v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"/> <v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"/> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"/> <v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"/> <v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"/> <v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"/> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"/> <v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"/> <v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"/> <v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"/> </v:formulas> <v:path o:extrusionok="f" gradientshapeok="t" o:connecttype="rect"/> <o:lock v:ext="edit" aspectratio="t"/> </v:shapetype><v:shape id="_x0000_s1026" type="#_x0000_t75" style='position:absolute; margin-left:0;margin-top:0;width:112.5pt;height:149.25pt;z-index:1; mso-wrap-edited:f;mso-position-horizontal:absolute;mso-position-vertical:absolute' wrapcoords="-144 0 -144 21491 21600 21491 21600 0 -144 0"> <v:imagedata src="file:///C:/DOCUME~1/WINDOW~1/LOCALS~1/Temp/msoclip1/01/clip_image001.jpg" o:title="nike-amp-plus-watch-723816"/> <w:wrap type="tight"/> </v:shape><![endif]--><!--[if !vml]--><img src="http://total-watches.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/news_image276227.jpg" align="left" height="199" hspace="12" width="150" /><!--[endif]-->It’s difficult to think of a $700 watch as inexpensive, but when your talking about the Swiss watchmaker Tag Heuer $700 is<a href="javascript:void(0)" title="Tag Heuer Formula One" id="file-link-20"> </a>nothing short of a bargain. Which is exactly what my Tag Heuer Formula One watch costs, ordinarily I would spend a maximum of $100 on a watch but as soon as I laid my eyes on this watch I wasn’t able to restrain myself from handing my credit card to the clerk. At first I felt a little guilty for spending so much on something that is supposed to tell me what time it was, my cell phone could already do that for free. Not to mention that I already had my own bias against watch companies such as Tag Heuer and Rolex, I thought that people only bought them because of the name and brand awareness. But as soon as I placed it on my wrist all the guilt and buyers remorse instantly went away, I had realized that this was a tremendous watch.<span><o:p></o:p></span></p> Both the watch and the company managed to exceed my expectations at every level, from customer service, quality, precision, and durability. The watch itself is stunning and is the perfect size for my wrist. Most watches tend to either be too large or too small but this one fits perfectly and doesn’t get in the way of my normal hand functions or gestures. My absolute favorite feature about the watch is its elegant yet simple design. The dial is simple and free of clutter, there is only an hour, minute, and second hand which makes it easy to read even in poorly lit areas. The weight of the watch is a little bit above average but its nothing that will distract you or make you feel uncomfortable wearing.<o:p></o:p> What sets this watch apart from all the rest has to be its durability, the Formula One is designed for those who work hard but play even harder. I have had this watch for 3 years and it has survived through every imaginable scenario you could throw at it. It has even managed to survive being ran over by my wife and countless diving as well as fishing adventures at the lake. I would recommend this watch to anyone who needs a strong, durable, yet luxurious watch. And for those worried about the high price tag keep in mind that this is a Tag Heuer which comes with a lifetime warranty, for $700 you can’t possibly go wrong.<o:p></o:p> <p class="MsoNormal"><!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o:p></o:p></p> <o:p></o:p> <p class="MsoNormal"><!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o:p></o:p></p> PHP:
Where would i enter code in? I entered it into the 3rd row of the code but has no effect. Am i doing it wrong? Thanks for the help marRome
just had a look at your site http://total-watches.com/?p=21 but didn't see the code super mario bros told you to add.. if you've added it make sure you delete cache or maybe the file just didn't upload properly. as mario mentioned you can put your images inside a div and style the div to leave that gap between your images and text. if by any reason you can't add that div tag cause of your template you can always do the same to your image.. so instead of adding a div around your image you would do something like this: <img src="/path/to/image/" style="float: left; margin: 5px;" />
Ahhhh right thanks for explaining that fabriciogr, im not a coder as you can probably tell so thanks!
