I've got a lot of work to do on my site, and on my portfolio; if any of you have ever worked for/with me before, (like KateBeswick, who I LOVE!) you know my niche is horror entertainment. Just recently, I've got a lot of new horror authors contacting me about what I offer as far as editing and proofreading. Rather than be all stingy and rude, I've decided to open up this service for all my clients; if you're already a writer, but don't have time to go back over your work (especially if it's a particularly long piece), I'd be happy to proofread or edit. I'll give my rates in a minute, but before I do, I want to explain the differences in rates. Proofreading and editing are two different things; I charge less for proofreading because I would be going through with my figurative red pen (a red font) and adding suggestions, or pointing out errors. If I edit your work, I am combining the process; in one copy, I'll be doing proofreading, which I will submit alongside my final draft, so that the original author, or writer, can see the changes I've added.
