I think yahoo index all of the word but google only index the most important and relevance word. Actually I found that google will suggest more relance keyword than yahoo.
Not sure from my experience it is Google that indexes faster and more than yahoo. Based on my personal blogs this is the case. Not sure what your stats mean.
Yes, yahoo indezes your pages more faster than google, i experienced this myself on my personal blog.
Rather than to compare how yahoo and google index any page: mine, yours or others, you can compare how they index each other, and you see that yahoo index more google pages than google do for itself. This i meant. and this mean what others had notice, that yahoo will index a lot ( but not quicker) from your page and because this have nothing to do with your keywords, this will have no effect on you traffic. So "better" indexing don't mean better traffic. Thank you
i have a rather small gay travel website; both yahoo and google come around regularly to index the whole thing, so they do a good job of keeping their indexes up to date for the most part as far as i can see. i rank about the same on the search engine page results in the important keywords (a resort town in mexico) but google sends me about 58-60% of my traffic, yahoo at around 27-29%, and msn at 8-9%. i don't know how one could decide which engine is 'better' but i certainly tend to use google more in my own searches and get more traffic and business from them....
yahoo might have a better index in your opinion but google gets a hell of alot more traffic than yahoo.
No doubt, most of my sites indexed more by yahoo than google. Maybe google's filter is more defensive.
