That image was an excellent viral marketing strategy, and very funny indeed. You need some good imagination to think about that
All casinos are rigged, both offline and online. That is exactly why I don't gamble...........there is an old saying that people who gamble aren't good at math, and I agree. The probability that you will hit a jackpot is so low that it is a waste of time. The house always wins......
I don't think that saying is true, you can play very tight in poker and play by the maths, you will win a very high % of your games, although it is still gambling the odds are highly in your favor. For jackpot machines you can play by the odds, I play them most weekends and I only play machines that are full and haven't paid out in a long time, I know the odds of cashing out is a lot higher than one that has just paid out high. Casinos are obviously always going to be rigged in the favor of itself, but poker is different since the room just gets a rake of every hand, it doesn't actually get any of the pot

Haha, nice. The biggest rig is that they have bots on lots of the tables, and the bots "know" what the cards are. I have a friend who is CEO of one of the BIG (top 3) poker sites, and I almost went to work for him as CIO (this is 5 years ago now). I didn't go because they were reincorporating offshore, but during the discussions, he let it out of the bag that the bots receive the same set of random cards as the real players, but are fed all data about the other players cards to get the edge.
Anybody find it at all humorous that the guy who started this thread about cheating actually stole the content outright from the original poster who had a post exactly like this?
really? the last time i was at the casino, i had my flopped straight lose to a runner runner full house. when it was all in on the flop my opponent only had top pair. now i could say the casino is rigged, but really i was just incredibly unlucky and that's just how poker is sometimes. the thing about online poker is you play so many more hands compared to live poker, so its only natural that the bad beats happen more frequently. you will always have people who will think its rigged. the majority of poker players think they are better then what they really are, so look to blame their lack of ability on the software when they are losing. i recently blogged about if online poker is rigged and already have a comment from someone claiming that i need to wake up and see that it is, LOL.
the flash betting games online ive always suspected are rigged due to how they make you win then lose, you put more money in you temporary win then its all lose.
