VainGaming MLG 4v4 Tournament :: 1$ Entry 30$ First Place Prize To kick off competitive gaming in Halo 3, this December VainGaming will be holding a MLG 4v4 Tournament. Since the launch of Halo 3 many MLG fans have set there heart at becoming well known players in the Halo 3 MLG scene. This is your chance to make a name for yourself, and your team as Halo 3 competitive players. Entry fee for this tournament is only going to be 1$. Cash payout to first place team will be 30$. We will not be keeping any entry money to our selves. All entry fees will go directly into the prize money. Then the rest of it will come out of my own pocket. Once the prize's have been posted they wont go down for any reason, no matter the turnout. Many people have asked why the entry fee is so low. There are two reason for this. One is simply to try to cut down on teams not showing up for their matches. If there is money involved, im sure many wont want to waste there money. And in turn show up the their matches. Secondly, this is our first tournament of many. This one is to get our name our there and to prove that we know what we are doing and our tournaments will run smooth every time. Also, on top of the initial 4v4 MLG tournament we will be holding a "Best Clip Of the Tournament Contest". Everybody that plays in the tournament is eligible to be a part of this contest. However, you must capture the clip and upload it to Mythica.org Or another video hosting website. This means no file share! A thread will be created for this with all of the information in the bottom of this post. As you will see, every single aspect of this tournament has been thought out. This tournament has been weeks into the making before we decided to announce it to the public. Many of the staff here have participated in online tournaments, and of course MLG events. We have taken our knowledge of how things worked out and put them in place. We have done every single thing to make sure this tournament will run as smooth as possible. Many people are hesitant to play in an online tournament simply because so many have failed in the past. It's not that running online tournaments don't work, it's simply that the people behind the online tournaments did not fully think everything out.
