I think you should try out few social shopping and classified sites that can help you for cross promotion.

I can share some good tips
find out the busy traffic timestamp, and publish your offer around the time, you can get more attention :)

i've done that ;) i know how to sell ebay items very well! set it to 10pm local time.. use every one of the 55 chars in the title... put as much detail and as many pictures as possible.. job done!

but i am making an online ebay shop, i want to get other people who dont see my auctions on ebay to go to my auctions...

If you advertise your item on adwords and the link goes to your auction, what's to stop the clicker from doing a price comparison with the same item from other sellers on ebay?

adwords eats money! although right now, my price IS the cheapest with free postage.. so if they did this, they'd chose mine unless they're actually stupid! :)

Do you have an ebay store? or regular listings. If you have a store ebay will put you in the search engines and you will get organic traffic.

ebay stores are quite expensive, i have found a really good website, www.auctiva.com, which did everything i wanted even saving ebay fees, and making an online shop (which i can edit easily)... so no i don't have one, right now i do not have regular listings, im just starting out, but within a month i plan to be selling 100 items a week.

ya i find that ebay is ripping off the sellers too much for the fees....It takes almost 10 percent of your total sales.....

Check out seller auctiontraffic2008 on eBay. Used the service and worked like a charm.
