Promoting to other countries?

Ebay has an affiliate program option that lets you promote to other countries. How the heck do you promote to other countries? Where do I find country specific searchengines to submit to?

    Thanks

Adwords (PPC) will allow you to specify regions/countries that you want to advertise to. For example, you can select European countries to advertise your services/products to. One side benefit is that I have heard other regions are not as competitive as the US, thus making it cheaper to advertise to those regions than it is to the US.

PHPGator is correct about the Adwords target market controls. Honestly, I run most of my Adwords campaigns as a geo-targeted campaigns.

But if you are targeting a specific country that speaks a language other than English, be sure you know how to write in that language. Seems obvious I know, but it is worth pointing out all the same.

Thanks for the replies, but I'm at a loss when it comes to how to promote them. Do I just do normal searchengine promotion, social bookmarks, etc? Is there any way to find country related forums or blogs? Does the domain extension have something to do with it?

    Thanks
