If 80% of my blog content is original, how do I get other blogs to post my content and show that I'm the source? My site will compete at the top 5%. Professional, sophisticated. Since my blog is attached to my website, where I sell proprietary products, I'll have blogging assets others don't have. My blog's purpose is to find new sales channels for the website. The subject matter is big and I plan to broaden the subjects to acquire both short and longer-term prospects. I have never approached a blogger and since phone numbers are usually not available I figure the exact way you do it has a lot to do with your success.
Looks like you are looking for places to get your articles syndicated. A good way to do it is to get in touch with the blog owners (in your niche) via email. This can mostly be found through the "contact us" section. Make sure you send a personalized email( talk about their blog etc). It will avoid making you look like a spammer. Then, towards the end, ask them (politely) them to take a look at your article and if they like it, tell them they are free to use it as long as they keep the links intact (put it nicely). Also, ask them if they would like to be in your syndicators lists where you send them an article every week or so. That said, make sure you publish your article on your website first! Also, make sure to paste the article in your email itself, rather than send it as an attachment. I hope this helped a little
