Promoting News Aggregation site

    I'm thinking about creating a website that aggregates news just for financial markets. It would just have different RSS feeds from finance news sites and would work on autopilot.

    How could I best promote this to get the most traffic? I think SEO would be hard since it won't have much original content.

    I'd be thinking niche, niche, niche.
    Identify a market that isn't already dominated by the
    top 10 financial news aggregators.
    Like stocks and news that only relate to the furniture industry, or some aspect of the travel or hospitality industry.

    Duplicate content won't be an issue as long as your site ranks well based on the usual SEO factors.

    And of course there are a lot of free and paid ways to drive traffic.
    Just make sure you can convert visitors to revenue (if you need to).

    Make sure you create a business page on G+ and contribute with fresh articles, images, etc. Make sure you do not spam it with the same stuff or your page will quickly get suspended. G+ is the way to go for any online / offline business.
