I've got profile on Twitter @GeeksBargain. I know about need to interact with others and sometimes use Twiends. But is it profitable to RT tweets not connected with the topic of my profile? I'm posting mainly links of tech discounts, like Xbox'es, TV sets, laptops even vpn subscription or IT books. So imo I should only interact with rather geekish profiles, not with news, moms'n'pops, fashion or fitness ones. But if I'd interact with everyone which has something interesting to tweet, I may be seen as a normal person who has feelings, not only folk which is posting sales and wait to buy stuff using his links. What do you think about degree and limits of interactions between various profiles? I'm aware I should keep out from profiles oriented on stupidity, hardcore gay pornography or justin bieber grouppies, 'cuz it will only clutter my profile's history.
I think it depends on your volume. Twitter has rate limit for tweets/retweets, and it has quite strict rules against auto reply/mention tweets.
Looks like I should chat with few profiles a day (3 to 5) and make up to 3 retweets. And post few discount tweets a day. Must try it. Thanks!
