I'm looking for a little advice from anyone is the business of selling scripts. I own and continue to develop 'TopMediaScript'; a media sharing community CMS which has proven very popular in the locations which I have promoted it. So far, this has been limited to two script directories (Scripts.com and ScriptSearch.com); as well as a handful of webmaster communities. While we've done very well financially from the small amount of promotion we have engaged in, i'm aware that we're potentially missing out on a lot of clients by not yet widening our net. I've just done the rounds of adding the script to a few more directories/listing sites, including hotscripts; as well as advertising it on one or two more forums - however i'm hoping I can get some advice from others who have been in this field longer. Where are the best places to promote scripts? Which have proven most fruitful for you? Aside from script listings and forum posts, what other promotional methods would you recommend? Obviously i'm not asking for people to share their golden geese here; but a little nudge in the right direction would certainly be appreciated. Thanks in advance =)
