I finally wrote my first ebook on a subject I know all too well - customer support. The ebook is how a business can maximize all facets of customer support tools (faq's, helpdesk, etc) so the customers are happier with the turnabout time and the business spends less time on support each day. There's more, but that's beside the point of this post. I've got my aweber stuff set up. Set up with clickbank, started blogging, got my sales page, etc. The thing with customer support is it's kind of an after thought. Everyone wants to learn how to grow their business "IN ONLY TWO DAYS" but as for customer support, people don't think much about it. I've tried looking for small business web sites to send article but what I find is either no-PR blogs, sites trying to sell something, or big-name sites that wouldn't be interested. Any ideas where I should start for sending direct emails? here's the blog: http://cruisecontrolcustomersupport.com/customer-support-blog/ the sales page of course is http://cruisecontrolcustomersupport.com Thanks.
Looks like a pretty good ebook. You might want to try promoting it to marketers via opt-in lists and you might be able to find opt-in lists here in DP or you can find them in Warrior Forum. Also you might want to try looking into a joint venture with somebody that has a list and is willing to offer your product on their list. You can find joint ventures on Warrior Forum.
Did you do any keyword research before writing the book? One of the biggest mistakes people make in internet marketing is trying to sell something they "think" people want instead of finding out exactly what people are searching for, and then giving it to them. Completely different animals) Grunt's suggestions are good. A joint venture would be ideal for your situation. Another thing you might try is search around and find out where your "target audience" hangs out. Will probably be forums, discussion groups etc. Advertise there and don't forget about other free advertising places such as usfreeads or whatever it is. I can't remember off the top of my head) Good luck,
Both hneagle and zeekstern make good points. i would also add a demo video to the sales page of how exactly your product works and how you are going to save the buyer some time.
