Promoting link with or without http:// ?

    Just want to ask, does the http:// matter ?

    because I've been promoting my site with the http:// and when I search for my site with the http:// I get a lot more search results than doing it without it.

    It does the same result as without it I think, the only difference is between www and non-www , you have to stick with one. But as far as http goes, i find it easier for the clicker to remember your site without the http

    When promoting a website, cite it in this form:

    www.domain.com

    Why? As a user, it is much easier to remember a website in that form rather than with http:// ;)

    yes google love www frinedly url so make sure your website should redirect to www if its non www

    http:// is usually used only to force a link on comment forms. www.domain.com or domain.com are both ok.
