Hey guys, My site www.sexyornot.us is doing quite well, but I hit somewhat of a wall. I have done the free directories, posted in forums, and what not, but what would the next step be in promoting my site and getting it on the search engines? Its no where to be seen in google right now What can I do to promote it and make it into search engines besides free directories? Thanks for any help you all can provide.
You dont have any text on your site. Add some keyword content and optimize your site. And keep building your incoming links.
What else Can i do with regards to keywords? I try to get the members to fill out a description and what not, but what else could I do? Thanks
Try to include your mail keywords within the main content of your site. Keword stuffing is not recommended though!
You can also create a couple blogs, with good related content to your site, and link to it, content is the king. You have to be patient, it takes time to develop a good business in internet. Keep visiting the forums, you will find great information.
Just buy some backlinks from revelant pages to yours. Also ask your friends to give you free backlinks, exchanges links with others people that got relevant websites to yours
I am thinking it's a reasonably competitive market and an 'organic' SEM approach could be tough. Certainly one way back links and targeted content is the way to go as far as organic, but I figure markeitng may be best served with a budget for paid avenues. Time has it's own value as such what's the cost for your SEO/SEM? Will the ROI be worth it? Usual stuff ... Dave
Thank you all for the help!! Lets say I have 100 bucks or so, what is the best way to spend in to promote/get traffic to my site? THanks, and sorry If that was a dumb question
Not sure why no one answered, maybe because consultants don't give away too much advice... who knows... Anyways, are we talking $100/month? Or in total... You really won't get far with $100 marketing budget. Once you have exhausted all the 'free' organic web promotion methods, it's probalby time to look at 'paid' advertising (many types out there PPC,CPC etc..) It's then a matter of trial and error for you and tracking results to determine the best ROI for you budget. That's how she goes... I hope that helped some....
