Promoting gambling/casinos while in the US

    From what I understand online gambling is illegal in the United States.

    I'm wondering if it is illegal if I am in the United States and I create an affiliate website to promote gambling? Obviously the SEO/Marketing would be done towards people in countries where online gambling is legal.

    The money I earn would be related to the amount these people wager/lose in these online casinos. Is this ok?

    no it is not illegal and you can gamble in the USA except for in a few states

    the payment processing is illegal

    You can promote gambling in the states but getting paid is becoming very difficult
