Promoting freeware products, tips w/using these products, etc

Could I get in any legal disputes if I promote certain products without any consent from the owners?

I've had friends who always ask me what programs I use, and how do I use them so I decided to post a blog and keep them updated about the things I use, and how I use them.

I also post sites I visit.

Is there any specific disclaimer I should post on my site that would prevent me from getting into any legal issues?

 

Reviewing products is a protected use of trademarks in most countries. You should be fine.
