We are going to setup free image hosting website. Please share your experience in free image hosting advertising. What are primary sources of traffic for such websites?
Well, you can submit http://www.imagehostingdirectory.com (mine), http://free-webhosts.com, and http://www.imagehostdirectory. Also, myspace is a great place for traffic. Ive also used press releases, adwords, stumbleupon (paid), directory / article submissions, forum posts, and paid banners / links for my image hosting site.
Thank you guys. I am wondering how to get traffic from MySpace if I do not have friends there. Just post on MySpace groups forums, or buy some spam bulletins ?
Don't post on MYSpace groups You can buy bulletins from people who have thousands of friends OR you can get someone to comment people's profiles with your button/link to your site. If you do this, I suggest you get them to post an image (saying "hello", what's up, etc you can find those in myspace resource sites) and have a button below saying "free image hosting by..." so it doesn't look spammy.
