Can I get some advice on promoting my first ebook, it's written, published, and uploaded it here. Any tips on promoting it?
Depends on niche which related to your ebook. You can search forums that related to the niche at Google. You can search affiliates to promote your ebook, then you pay commission to them once your ebook get sales through them.
had a look at the ebook is this going to be a WSO as it says ? I would have to see how it would appear there to give better feedback, but at a glance try and add more colour to it like red and blue as you would see on the WF use the ... more (ipsums is it called ?) and it will look a lot better, just look at top WSOs and copy the format and you'l be on a winner
You would do well to promote it on niche forums. It is also a good idea to include the link in related blogs.
Depends on niche which related to your eBook. But normally YouTube will helpful for you. You can a create a video about your eBook. Then promote YouTube video.
The best way to promote the eBook is to make sure you have a link to your eBook on your forum signature. Make sure to participate in forums and blogs that are related to your eBook's niche or is within your eBook's niche. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
Here's a simple idea: set up a showcase like this one ganxy.com/i/70176 that you can use to promote your book, collect email addresses to stay in touch with your audience, and even sell books directly (optionally). The Showcase can be shared, emailed, embedded on websites, Facebook pages, and more. If your book is set up in retailers, add those links to make sure that the audience can buy however they'd like. It's free to set up a Showcase - check out ganxy.com (my company).
It depends on why you want to promote that ebook. if you want to promote it so people buy it, it is never wrong for you to list it on ebook category in this forum. if you want to promote the ebook pure to help people, you can share it on scribd and other ebook directories website.
I just launched my first e-book today too, what I do is tweet, also I gave review copies to highly reputed members!
I agree. Guest posting is HUGE for driving traffic; especially if you can get on a top ranked authority site... But just focus on a site with a decent alexa ranking and viewer interaction. This shows that people are checking out the site
