I hear contests are a good way to promote your site? I've been up for 2 months now, and I average about 300 visitors a day, but I don't think that's enough to get the word out to. How do you promote a contest?
If you have a blog that you are running a contest for, one of the best places to seriously promote your contest would be at: ContestBlogger This guy will draw some serious attention to your contest! If you have a website you are running the contest for, I'm not sure about where to promote it...hope this helps though!
Make catchy captions and try offering non-monetary incentives to winners, certain special privileges and stuff.
