Is this as effective as it would be promoting the same products in the US? Does anybody here promote CB products to a UK audience? If so how does the conversion rate compare to promotion in the US?
Yes, it is indeed effective. I'd say about 20% of my sales from the UK. I'm not specifically targetting them, but they definitely make up a chunk of my revenue on the whole. -T
I find a generally lower conversion rate in the UK than the US. Maybe because I do not have as many affiliates in UK promoting as in the US. Other parts of Europe convert almost as well as US. My product does not really target any country audience though. Stan.
Yeah I think I would agree with Stanley. You can sell CB stuff just fine in the UK but conversions tend to be a little better for the US. I read somewhere that certain kinds of advertising (ie long sales pages) are not as effective in the UK as they are in the US because people in the US are used to receiving similar advertisements in the mail from direct marketers. Apparently UK people are not so used to them so instantly dismiss them as hype or whatever. No idea how true it is but I certainly found it interesting.
The UK is a very viable market for CB products. I still prefer the US as my main market simply because it is bigger and I feel that there is less reluctance there to use a Credit Card over the internet.
Yeah, I would say that its not as good as the US, but you can still make some money from UK searches, I make about 15% from out of US searches.
Yes the amount of exposure you get in us is more as when compared to uk for the same amount of work. I just promote keeping both the countries in mind so make sales in the two regions too.
