Yeah that's a great way river. But I think You should trying to do link exchanges with sites that are somewhat similar to your but not the exact same. How many visitors are you getting right now and how old is your site?
You are going to need more content. How about some reviews of the sites, and tutorials on some popular games like poker, including some well known strategies and hit the article marketing sites. Boost the content with some video tutorials as well...I am sure you can find tons of poker videos on You Tube, and maybe offer some books on the subject as well through an affiliate program like Amazon. to cut back on some of the banners. I would even embed an astore of casino books and tutorials. Think about the user experience, not just making a quick sale and offer more than just a banner farm. If you build trust and authority, people will check out the offers. JMO
Yeah I agree with you. I myself have a site that's just 3 days old and I originally made the blog to work on my writing. But I made it from a users perspective and everyone loves it. And when I say EVERYONE I mean everyone. Also, try to be unique in anyway you can. People love something different, even if it's not the greatest idea in the world. Goodluck man.
