Do you use FaceBook Flyers to promote Azoogle offer?

I tried with 2500 impressions only for $5. Although CTR is extremely low but one offer converted and earned 3 times of investment.:)

Thinking of doing it in higher scales. Have any you guy tried it? What was your result?

Job Search , Scholarship and College Search offers will convert better i think.

a facebook flyer is an ad you can post on facebook. it displays on the left column, and is a long banner. the cost is $1 per every 500 impressions. i've posted one before and it was quick and easy

I've tried it before with dating offers. It works but the stats can be great (Well, I never really made more than 200% ROI) one month, and in the red the next.

Too up and down for me. I'll stick with PPC :p

I lost money doing this last week. Not worth it unless you can find a VERY targetted offer.

I just ran a 5000 impression campaign promoting the WebFetti offer. You'd think that facebooker's would want graphics and things for their social networking profiles, but lo and behold, 5000 impressions led to only 3 clicks, which is like a six millionth of a percent CTR !! And those 3 did not convert on a FREE download!! That was $10 down the toilet. I could have spent that $10 on PPC.

I think most of the facebook population is ad blind. My younger brother is a facebook fiend, and he stays on that same site for 15mins to an hour at times. When you're on a single site that long, you really don't pay attention to the ads.

To anyone considering doing this, I suggest that you consider a different advertising method, to get "more bang for your buck."

Yes . Right! Buying banner and Text ads on related site of the niche is better. Atleast they have good CTR and conversion rate.

And in addition to all that, $2 CPM is just expensive for a text ad, especially on a site that generates 200 page views per user per visit

On top of that it's not Myspace, facebookers don't care about pimping out their profiles with some webfetti crap. I have achieved close to 2% CTR on dating ads but still didn't even break even, don't waste your money.

I agree with the general body here. I also tried using facebook flyers, but most if not all the users don't give a damn about the ads! I know I don't!

Facebook is not myspace, most facebook users dont care about "pimping" their profile and are pretty good at not clicking on ads. So if you're planning on promoting something through facebook make sure its a good product that college students would need and it has a non-spammy creative.

The only time Ive used them was to advertise my friends student gov. campaign and for that they worked perfectly as she got elected.
