Promoting and getting submissions to a new directory

What are you expecting they would say:
I'm too stupid to use my own expertize, observations, experiences so I will
regurgitate so called "facts" others equal to my "level of knowledge" vomiting
around blogs and forum so someone would think that I'm smart enough
and know what I'm talking about.

Don't hold your breath because the only fact that I know, they have no facts to offer.

After 15 years online, I don't have to do a thing and that is a fact.

This will only attract more spammers looking for free links and not real advertisers. Real advertisers won't visit a directory of directories.

 

I get message to remove owners sites from the directory.

 

Ignore it - we get lots of these for our bot search engine, its other SEO freelancers trying to get you to remove your client links - its just
competitor deletion, they want to get rid of any competition from SERPS, directories and other databases, anything that is deemed promotion or
in competition with their clients.

Just delete those types of mails. After a while you'll recognise the familiar pattern they use. although they can be pretty clever about it.

It's really difficult trying to get 'Businesses' to submit, Small business owners might go searching on the net to see what directories are available for link building but bigger companies i find if wanting to do the same use 'SEO' companies or of that nature and i guess it depends on the directories they use. It's not as simple today as it used to be as many years ago, people are more wiser.
