Promoting an sripts store

I own an online scripts store and I get under 10 visitors a day. I have tried promoting with clicksor.com and adbrite.com but never made a sale from it. I wanted to do a CPA campain but I don't want to pay to just set up an account or campain and pay per sale too. I am working on making an advanced affiliate program for my site but I am sure it won't hit off for a long time if ever.

Does anyone know a good cpc program that will work good for a scripts store?

    Thanks.

See the conversion (visitor to customer) is totally depending upon what kind of product line you have? And what kind of website you have? Its nothing to do with your PPC campaign. Because SE’s are serving you visitors, which are interested in your product. But yes you always have to find a cost effective and targeted advertising medium.

Adsense, MSN or Yahoo are good choices for pay per click, but are rather expensive.

If you want some affiliate software then there's some of the most popularly used ones that are used by alot of other affiliate programs listed here

Also for a good list of some of the top affiliate networks there is a listed here

Now about the pay per sale program. That would be a good idea and would probably get you quite a few sales if you get some good affiliates promoting your scripts. But with practically all networks I would think you would need to deposit a certain amount of money into your account just so that they can make sure that you are not there one minute and then gone the next. Don't forget that it takes time for them to setup your account and also other affiliates will be using your links on their sites. They don't want to add them 1 day and then have to take them down a few days later.

    Anyway good luck with this.

find forums or groups related to your script, like in digitalpoint people like to buy SEO related script. Give away one month or less function free scripts.

Yep, that's another good suggestion is that if you haven't already done so then allow a 15 - 30 day free trial on your software / scripts. If it's scripts then someone can see how it works on their site and if it works well they will buy it.

Also make shure that your scripts are submited on all "script sites" like scripts.com and hotscripts. I find most off scripts for my sites on this sites.

I also use hotscripts. I think that is one of the best places to find scripts. Well it use to be anyway. You also get a nice little flow of traffic from there aswell.
