    Hey guys,

I normally try to just get this work done by myself but need a little help to be honest. Lot of helpful DPers here so I hope you guys can help. I have 5 image hosts all are 4L, (4 .net and 1 .com).

Now I won't post them in the thread as it may be thought of as spamming. Anyhow, I have had them live for around 2 or so weeks. Got adsense on them and earning the odd $1 every so often. The sites don't really get much traffic so that is what I am going to ask about. How do I go about promoting these sites? I have submitted them to a few image hosting web directories today but am stuck for ideas.

I doubt google and yahoo groups will do much and stumbling/digging and all that social bookmark stuffed really only brings 10 second traffic. I don't really want to spam forums but if I can do it a creative non spammy way please do say so. I also don't particularly want top buy traffic as I want something that will last.

Any opinions or advice is great.

    Thanks,
    Daniel ;)

1st advice I can think of before taking off (too late here),

before advertising/promoting/populating, adsense do poor with imagehostings so change to cpm networks or aff ads

promote your img hosting sites via hiring or posting in forums of social networks.

you may also wish to pay themes, social network tool providing services to use your img hosting in image/greeting codes where users copy and paste

with this deal, its better off then buying traffic because you will have users seeing images hosted on your site frequently and you will get natural clicks later on.

Well I did post thumbnails, not of what you suggested but of celebs. Posted 1 thread and got 300 UV from it, then got a message from the admin saying they didn't accept my image host :D :p

you may have done this but also say there's good top news going around, make a blog and also for images, use your own imagehost, or write a guide/tutorial for something with screenshots (where you'll be putting your imghost codes)

I like the tutorial idea, anyone know of forums that like pics, no full adult (nude) but lingerie is okay. If anyone has a list of celeb forums, please let me know.
