If I asked visitors to my sites to support them by buying from my paid advertisers and sponsors would I have to add (words to the effect) "this does not apply to google ads"? Can you suggest examples of sites that do this?
If you are saying that u want to make your visitors click on the google ads by SAYING SOMETHING,then you are crossing the redline!!!!!Thats against google tos.You might get banned for that from adsense. If you are asking abt affiliate marketing i dont know much of that
I think you cannot post any other ads on google adsense page, How ever you can display your own ads abt the same site where you have adsense. So if you have adsense ads on a page, you can have that along with your own ads, but not anyone else's ads.
I had to check the guidelines because of the answers above - you are wrong to think you can't have other ads alongside adsense. As long as they do not mimic google's. Google state: In order to prevent user confusion, we do not permit Google ads or search boxes to be published on websites that also contain other ads or services formatted to use the same layout and colors as the Google ads or search boxes on that site. Although you may sell ads directly on your site, it is your responsibility to ensure these ads cannot be confused with Google ads. The question is - if promoting the services of the OTHER advertisers - does one add "this does not apply to google ads". I'm sure I've seen sites that use this but didn't record any, can anyone suggest examples?
