Any ideas on how to promote an online casino related site? It's tough to buy links, and there's a TON of competition (of course). I've already run a bunch of searches, but I haven't turned up any similar threads. Thanks!
I would have to think that you're fighting an uphill battle with a site like this. Most places don't even bother to look at the site in question when they see it's casino related, it's merely an automatic rejection for links, etc. I'd have to think the best thing to do initially, is ensure that the site, and the main page especially, doesn't appear to be a scheme so to speak. Make it content rich about online casinos without pushing a bunch of affiliate links, banners, etc. You're best bet for getting some initial exposure is likely to be through some effectively written press releases and articles. Currently doing marketing work for a Poker related site. The bottom line is content, and links are king. There are plenty of sites that link to casino sites; we have built well over 1,000 links for this particular poker site we are working with.
