Promoting a new DJ Forum

    I've recently started a new forum for mobile DJs, allowing DJ Chat to occur on a variety of topics.

    I've promoted the forum on a few sites but I'm not sure exactly how to promote this forum.

    Anyone have any suggestions on how to promote a DJ Chat Forum?

    Step 1 ) Hire forum posters to fill every section
    Step 2 ) Go to Other DJ forums and post, with your signature link
    Step 3 ) Build lots of backlinks, but backlinks, or hire a SEO expert


    Warning: It's really hard to make cash out of Forums

    Thanks for the suggestions.

    I'm not really trying to make money with this forum, I just have an interest in the subject & have a DJ System that I've had for about 8 years.

    I've been building backlinks & working on the SEO for the site.

    Just hard getting members / posters.
