what do you guys look for when you promote a clickbank product? do you create a landing page, use ppc, use squidoo and hubpages? are they any help? what is the most popular way you promote a clickbank prooduct? do you post articles? I am trying to get a good feel and idea on how the user base - experts and noobs promote.
i browsed through the faqs - but are all basic anwswers I am trying to find almost like a loop hole, how do people advertise and promote, beginners and experts. somewhere between those there is a meeting point where both share something. I will re browse through the faqs and see if I miss anything thanks
There are no ready recepies. At least no one will give them. Because once they are public knowledge - they stop to work. It's all trial and error and a whole lot of sweat. PPC, BUM, Squidoo, own LPs, blogs, content sites, SEO they all work. You can make any of the methods work if you become good at it and that usually involves spending a lot of time and effort. Affiliate marketing is no easy money at all. Yet there are money to be made here. A lot of money.
understandable - I do ok with affiliate marketing - I am trying to make a new website base on user inputs this is why I ask the questions above. I have my own tactics and you are right they will never be revealed by others I am trying to see what I know and what users such as you and others do
Satellitetvtopc.com users come from these countries: United States 29.2% Canada 7.0% India 5.0% United Kingdom 4.2% Puerto Rico 3.2% Singapore 2.1% Malaysia 2.0% DETAILS ARE HERE: satellite-tv-to-pc-deals.blogspot.com

since there are such tools as article marketing and squdoo - I bet no one would pay for a service that allows you to 'plug' into a blog of some sort also, squidoo has all those other ads on the side, do you know what percentage diversta away from your actual page?
I noticed about 5%... So when I have 100 clickouts from my Lens, about 95 go to my link, and about 5 clicks go to Adsense - which I truly believe isn't that big of a deal. Since they clicked on those ads - they were not interesting in the product I am promoting. Hey, at least I will get some of the adsense money (btw, did you know that Squidoo shares their Adsense earnings with you?)
wow that I didn't know - thanks - i guess squidoo is popular for clickbank - what if someone plugs in stories into a blog similar to squidoo but on a blog instead? would anyone be doing that since I think blogs have more authority than other sites
yea but on squidoo you have other distractions - where a blog is assumed to have authority already, since blogs or mostly base on authoritative opinions. also wouldnt you want your end user to convert from that blog post or squidoo page? I wouldnt want a user to click to a blog then to a squidoo page just to get to what they want? I am thinking maybe if I allow users to plug articles about any clickbank products that they have a good chance of getting more hits to their landing page or converting, since it will be user base - and not similar to an article directory if anyone is thinking along those terms
You can reduce the number of distractions on a Squidoo lens by unmaxing it. See squidoo.com/unmax for how to do this.
