Thanks - if you have any kind of paint program you could easily whip up an avatar.

 

I'll definitely be trying it out! I think it's a cool idea. I like "different" stuff... away from the norm.

Great idea.. is it only 50x50 or will you allow bigger sizes?

 

We decided on 50x50 for consistency and storage concerns. Any paint program should allow you to adjust easily though.

Keep those Sivatars rolling in!

Whats the benefit to me if I submit my avatar to your site?

 

You should check the FAQ and About (but maybe that wasn't clear enough -- please let me know)

Anyway, there are two types of people who join Sivatar:

1.) Those who want to promote themselves.
2.) Those who want to discover new websites.

Most people here at DP want to promote themselves. So by uploading your avatar and attaching your website, it becomes a Sivatar. Which will expose your site to more people as the network grows.
