Promote your site locally

    Hello everyone,

    I would like to know if anyone here have done these type of marketing a site.

    1) Sponsor a school contest - high school and college
    2) Create a flyers and hire someone to distribute them.
    3) Business card
    4) Stick your domain name in the rear window of a SUV, truck, compact car

    Does anyone have done all four marketing?

    The site had already been optimized for search engine. It ranked high in some important keywords. Our goal is to get the local residents to visit our site.
    The site main target is in southern California, mainly in LA, Ventura and Orange county. I looked at some Ipods, Xbox and mp3 players they are not expensive.

    lol, I have my brothers site in my back window really big it says www.MichiganHouseHunting.com - I have had a few people ask about it, and even a guy pull me over to get a business card for the site, I don't know if my brother has got any customers from it though...atleast I haven't seen a cut
