Hello everyone, I'm trying to market my website which sells home and garden products. I want to promote the products on the website and was wondering if email marketing was any good. I don't plan on spamming and i don't want to buy a list. Does anyone have any suggestions that might help me? What about autoresponseplus.com? Is that any good? Any suggestions will help. Thank you for all the advice you have offered on this forum. Truly appreciated. Sari www.CoconutzHomeAndGarden.com
Finish your site before asking too much. Most of us want to see what you have. First line of promotion is SEO (search engine optimization) this is ongoing but needed to be implimented from the start since time is a factor with googles sandbox. This includes links from related sites, directories and more. Second, do some paid search advertising with overture or google or both third, do offline advertising or mail out a catalog to a targeted list This is just a generalized list, but more will answer your questions when the site is actually working.
Listen to the baby in the yellow top. He knows what he is saying.. most of the things you need are right here anyway
I never read email advertisements and have my email client set to junk any it can catch. If you really want to insert yourself into people´s mailbox, then why not find garden sites that have a newsletter and either offer them an article or buy an ad spot. People who have elected to receive a home or gardening newsletter are more likely to be interested in your products, they trust the source and on top of that newsletter editors are often hungry for stuff to fill their next edition and you´ll get temporary or archived links back to your site. And as the yellow baby said - make sure your site is ready to receive the interested visitors who may click through...
Try to establish a weekly or bi-weekly newsletter and use co-registration services to acquire a considerable list fast. The list will cost you somewhere from $200 to $500 per thousand names. Use a few co-registration vendors to reduce risks of sticking with one low quality vendor. Your products seem to be marketable with a newsletter. The only recommendation - the newsletter should be interesting for women, a kind of tiny lady magazine. Write small but interesting articles and advertorials about your products mixed with links to your e-store and it should work much better than explicit solicitation.
promote it using article directories and also, you can do press release of your site. there are actually free press release sites over the internet
Hi Sari! I've been reading a lot of how-to's in advertising online and most of them push for Internet marketing. SEO is a good place to start as well and there are many available resources in the Internet to drive traffic to your website and promote your products, try: 1. writing articles about your products and then submitting them to web directories 2. getting a free classified ads online 3. putting up a forum in your website, regularly updated Then, proceed to maintaining your good contents in your website to keep them coming back. Try putting "Free gifts" of "More information" links as well to keep it interesting. Good luck!
Yes very true search engine optimization and email marketing services can really help you to promote your website.
what this guy said is almost what I want to mention, and it is really helpful. Apart from the paid search engine advertisement like Google search advertisement and Google image advertisement, you can try the following ways to make your SEO work more effectively. 1. Directory Submission, just submit your site to many website for google to search and for people to view. 2. Article submission, try to submit some articles about your company or your products. 3. Press Release. Submit some pr,like you have released a new product or the news about your company. Hope this helps ------------------------------ Sabrina Gage Free Live Chat software
