Hi everyone, We are making a new site and are torn between promoting the *best* product or the one that's going to make us the most money? Out gut feelings tell us to promote the best product but what do you think?
You have to make sure that you are sold on what you have to offer. You have to believe that you can sell people on it. So I would suggest going with the *best* product.
I always search for quality products which have potential to sell well for ME. Products which seem to be the "best" for other affiliates, doesn't need to be the "best" product for you. Hope this helps a bit
I assume you're talking about products that has some "real value" and not just BS / hype. If so, yes, obviously BEST PRODUCTS is the right strategy..
The best product would definitely be the one that gets you the most sales/converts best (Damn.. I had to disclose this secret) Now it depends how well you know your market/ how much research you've done before getting your feet wet and started promoting a certain product. @karabas Partially I do agree ... but for the starting affiliate some of the TOP gravity / TOP products / Evergreen products you name it... are not always the best ones to promote. I've had tough times and wasted a fortune promoting Mike Geary's Truth About Abs which currently gets the most traffic out of all clickbank products. Here's my point so I'm a bit more clear... Everyone either if they just starting off / or has been in aff. marketing for a while... You need to TEST a few products out YOURSELF to come up with a winner. That's what everyone has done to succeed. Something that works for me might not always work for you .. TEST the product yourself and give it time (meanwhile don't listen to rumors) ... 1000 hops should suffice to see if a product is profitable/ worth promoting (you'll need tarted traffic through) I see no other way to find a winner other than testing the deep/shallow/cold "OCEAN" if I may, YOURSELF! Al./
I guess if you can make a long term business model based around a product that makes you the most money, then that's obviously more profitable. But I'm sure most businesses make their money off of creating real value to their customers through high quality products. In the short run it might be more sensible to promote a product that makes you more money, then you can re-invest your short term gains into a long term business for sustained growth!
So were you successful in promoting other products in the same industry but not necessarily the vendors that had TOP gravity/TOP Products?
