Hi Jim Im afraid thats not possible. Visual Studio does a byte count of files before compiling, it then checks this when it runs, if you delete or change any SWF files and recompile it will bum out. I think your wanting to create a custom product with games of your choice! I will be bringing out other game sets in this software in the future such as puzzle games, sports games etc. and possibly a version that will allow customers to install different games packs of their choice. The only problem is that if too many games are initially in the product i.e 100 or more it will be a very large file to download. Thanks for seeing the potential in this product, i think it will sell very well as soon as its promoted and of course you now get 50%. Thanks
For any of you guys interested in promoting this superb product ( 3 more sold yesterday ) i now have an affiliate page with banners etc. Affiliate page
Your price have changed back to $120 from $97? How does user add more games? Do they download from your site through this software. Do they 've to pay for the games packs? The software is suppose to play online ... but i don't see how it can be done. Actually the aim is for them to play online so that they would see the banner or advertisement on the software. If they can play offline, they would not need to be connected to the internet.
As the product is new i have been looking at different pricing options. However although i tried $97, the $120 price point is now set because funnily enough the sales improve at the higher price point and its worth the price easily as proved by the sales and affiliates will still receive around $48 commission per sale. The idea of the software is to make it easier and more convenient to play the games. Yes you can play the games by visiting various flash game sites but... The loading from the software is instant so no waiting for loading plus you can play these games online or off. The additional game packs that can be installed will be in the new version of the software being programmed now. This will be a free upgrade for existing customers and will allow customers to totally customise their software with their own games. Its a good selling point that the games can be played offline (i.e on a car journey etc.) but realistically, pretty much everyone is on broadband so will be connected to the net 90% of the time. Thanks for your questions
Shafty, This looks like a pretty neat software. I checked your sales page and since you changed the price to $97 you may want to reflect that in your "Click Here to Order Now" button at the bottom. I do have a question: I can change my affiliate links for products I want to promote whenever I want and will there be support if we have any problems with the software? Good luck with your product, I am going to see what I can do to promote it. Thanks, Eddie
Hiya Eddie. As explained a couple of posts back, ive looked at price and feel $120 is a good price for the product. The only thing i may increase is the commission for affiliates. There is full support for this product and there will be updates to the software allowing as an example, different game packs to be installed. Thanks Steve
Hello Steve, My bad, I thought I had read earlier that you had changed the price to $97 and the Aff. commission had gone to 50%? So, I see you put the price back at $120, what about commission? How are you advertising your program? Thanks, Eddie
Hiya Eddie. To answer your last question first. Im not advertising other than i sold a website with its own rebranded software for $195 on sitepoint yesterday and ive had about 6 sales in the last 4 days from pretty much zero promotion, which is why im looking for affiliates to push the product. I understand everyone suggests giving 75% commission and selling for lower price and thats fine for ebooks where no work is involved but this product involves altering and recompiling code plus any support issues so im not prepared to give away pretty much most of the profit. However i may well increase the affiliate commission or i may pay for promotion myself. As to the percentage. You will still get around $48 per sale so its not a bad wedge plus its a great product. If the sitepoint sale is anything to go by then you guys could buy the package from me using your affiliate link and put it for sale on sitepoint making an instant profit of around $150. Heres the sitepoint auction listing. Listed and sold within about an hour!
