Although not as effective as paid advertising, you could just start writing articles promoting your website and also try getting your site bookmarked on other authority sites and start building backlinks for your website by promoting it on other forums etc. I don't have many ideas when it comes to promoting in the free zone.

Link Directories - Submit your website to various link directories in a type of "online earning" category 5. Social Bookmarking - Submit your website to various social bookmarking websites to gain exposure and back links to your site
