Hello Digital Point! I am here to show off my latest, and first major project. It is called pardgen! It is a nifty little site that goes along with sites like peopleofwalmart, fml, textfromlastnight, etc... Right now it is in beta (1.2) Currently working on: Security Complete form checking Bug testing Adding new features Finishing up contact and about pages Better layout. Known bugs and problems: Sometimes when you enter a parody it will enter twice If you find a problem with the site, please let me know. If you would like to suggest something for the site, please let me know. You can see it Here Feel free to mess around with it, add and check out parodies. I have a few questions: Do you like the look/layout of the site? Does the site work for you? Do you like the idea of the site? Think it will go well? Is it something you would visit?
Yes. About and Contact Us pages aren't working. When it comes to design, I am afraid that it didn't caught my attention. I personally think you should redo the overall design. At least, the color codes and that PARDGEN figure. Also, it is pretty hard for me to get the concept of the site. I think you should consider adding a video tutorial or something just to let the visitors know about the concept and objectives of the website in a bit thorough manner.
The site has had many many upgrades. I know there is no about, contact, or advertise pages yet. Everyone please let me know what you think of the site
The darkish , tight design is not really my cup of tea but I think it you intended right from the start to be like that so that it can easily convey idea of dark humor , parody and similar forms of humor. Maybe you could create a much wider body and include some examples right from the home page ... so that people can understand the concept of the site more quickly. Why am I saying that? Because people don't have an incentive to write something for 5 minutes unless they can understand quickly the benefits of that action. Also , the Google Ads are kind of in my face there under the header. Maybe if you tried to move them on the sidebar? The idea? I personally like it , provided that the site manages to generate some nice punch lines quite consistently Oh, and one more thing... some people prefer the logo to have a hyper link to the homepage. It's easier to click.
