Hi, Iv got a small suggestion to make about the programming section under services in BST forum. There should be a rule or some sort to tell users they must state what work it is that needs to be carried out and not just small info like 'php coder needed pm for info'. As that does not help the programmer determine the sort of work they will be contacting the user for. If the user can clearly state as much information as possible programmers can work faster to contact clients that they can complete the work for. Just a small suggestion that came to my mind and thought it was worth sharing. Thanks
Not sure that this is for the Mods to sort out, people should provide as much information as possible, if only to save time with PMs and to get the job done faster. Thanks Brian
Although your point is clear and makes sense, there's a slight issue with it - the fact that 50%+ of the time, when someone asks for a coding job, for example, they are not coders themselves and can't explain or be 'specific' as to what they need done; hence, this is why they post there for help. I agree with you however, that the poster should try his/her best to list as much info as possible, but as the above post said, this really isn't something that is controlled by the staff.. I mean, the poster names the thread to the best of their knowledge as to what they need. If they don't, why bother if they don't?
