    Hi Folks
I have been in contact with reuters and they dont seem to be able to advise on exactly what we need to do.

If you look at www.hifx.com you can see exchange rates live, they update per second. I need to see where their source is as i want to pull in this source into our website too.

I cant seem to find a company that can source this i.e i have been onto xe,com and they charge 7000 per month

    Any help appreciated?
    Barry

    Barry,

You will find that kind of information is going to be expensive no matter where you try and get it from. Any kind of real time financial will be expensive due to the people who will buy it I.E. Banks and other people with more money than sense.

You may be able to find cheaper (sometimes free) feeds but if its any like stocks and shares they will be time delayed, normally around 15-20 minutes.

There is another option and that's screen scraping if you can find a web page with all the data you want on it, screen scrape it and put it into your database. However this is a legal grey area and is really not recommended.

    Screen scrape is the answer.

For one of my websites, I did so on Yahoo Money, but on a daily basis (second/minute basis will sure get you banned from any site).

    Peace,
