I'm not sure this is the right section (actually this is my heart desire so I guess it fits :p ) so please move it gently to the right section :>

    And for the question

Which code editor do you preffer?

I'm using gedit on ubuntu with the normal font and the dark theme on res. 1024*768 px with a 24 inches screen, before that I used to work with vim with 10px text size

    screeny:

The gedit's snippets functionally is just great, can't except more than that and the syntax highlighting is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l !!!
I'm also running L(A)MP, instead of apache I'm using lighttpd, I'm not sure it better but it works as a charm ;)

    Whats you opinion?

I use Dreamweaver most of the time. But if I want to edit a simple code, Notepad will do.
