Programmer meets internet , Internet spits in face , turns around

Hi !
I am 25/m/Israel .Live Pretty much the middle of nowhere , 32 km behind the green line ...
I make a decent living from being a Thermal/Chemical RT control software programmer , and after a few years of buying domains (just thought it's a smart thing to do) , I decided to learn how to build websites .

So I bought a nice book called PHP and MySQL web development (Third) , and stupid book called CSS Mastery .
All was well . So I decided to actually build a website ... I bought Search engine optimization for Dummies book , and built www. parkour.tv .
I was very surprised to find out that things are not as simple as I thought . Getting visitors isn't easy , people won't just link to me , and 300 visitors a day gives 8 cents of income . But things are getting better , as I am getting some good feedback and tweaking the site .
When I get this site to 1$ a day , I believe I will proceed to another site ... probably will use my bizzare.tv domain name and use the same code .

I was very happy to find this community , with such helpful and knowledgeable people .
