Program a URL

How would one configure a URL to show

http://forums.digitalpoint.com/

instead of

http://digitalpoint.com/forums

You would need to setup a sub-domain name with your DNS or Hosting provider.

 

All you have to do is set up the sub-domain.

 

I have set up a sub -domain and it show http://mydomain.com/subdomain
I was wondering how to have it show http://subdomain.mydomain.com

 

Then you didn't setup a sub-domain name.

http://sub-domain.website.com // That IS a subdomain name and will always be out front.

htt://website.com/directory // That is a directory, not a sub-domain.


If you have access to any web-admin panel, I would look there for the sub-domain section.
