Up for sale is an informational financial website called “Stock Market Crash!”, located at www.stock-market-crash.net. The website’s theme is focused on educating about stock market crashes and other economic calamities, of the past, present and the future. I'm looking to get $6,000 for it.

Attracting 25,000 unique human visitors each month (830 per day), the website earns $3,750 yearly from Google Adsense advertisements on its pages. Stock Market Crash! contains a blog, web forum and book reviews in addition to the main financial crises articles.

The site has attained 3 DMOZ listings, 1 Yahoo directory listing, 7 PR 5 pages, 14 PR4's and 72 PR 3's with 25,000 monthly unique visitors.

Here is a detailed page I created describing the site and terms of sale:

    Thanks,

    Jesse

I liked your reasoning behind why you should get $6k for it, but comparing websites to bonds is a bit risky, considering how liquid the bond market is and how illiquid the website market is (no such thing as market makers here) and websites can and do disappear overnight, whilst there is still a market for junk debt.

I will offer the normal rate of 10 times monthly earnings which is $3125.00.

Hi, I will offer you $3,300 for your stock crash site. 95% of the keywords that the site is getting top positions are small keywords. Most of the keywords have around 100-200 search queries per month.

    Strong Interest here.

Can we establish - is $6000 a BIN?

Also, from a programming point of view, how is the site updated with ADSENCE etc - I assume each page is not individually updated?

How long has ADSENSE been on the site? Was it there from the start? (I assume fairly recent?)

Very interested and will make an offer - subject to responses above

    thank you

Since the site owner said that "I'm looking to get $6,000 for it." That means he set $6,000 as BIN. Period.

I will take this site for $6,000.

vetteman18, please contact me asap. I also sent email to you.

SOLD! I just sold the site for $6,000 to a great gentleman that I had the pleasure of actually meeting with in person today.

For everyone else who was interested, I appreciate your inquiry.
