I'm trying to sell this domain to raise some quick cash. I really don't want to sell it because it has a lot of potential with minimal effort, but it's almost Christmas and I'm waiting on some promised project payments... so, if you buy it, I'll probably envy you.

About the site

The site primarily focuses on shower head water filters, but the content also touches on hard water filters, home water filtration, etc. It is monetized exclusively via Amazon affiliate links, but it probably would be a good candidate for Adsense ads due to the fact that the CPC rates for the primary keywords (and the keywords that it receives traffic for) are in the $3.50-$4.50 per click range.

As of the writing, it appears as though Yahoo is the primary search engine to send it traffic, though it used to grab Google traffic too... but I've not kept up with this site much at all this year.

There are several original articles on the site, there are a couple of syndicated articles on the site, and quite a few auto-posted (from RSS feeds) mini-blurbs that are monetized in multiple ways.

The site has a custom header (not great, but it's unique) and uses the 'Structure' Wordpress theme.

Included Software

I will include a very simple affiliate link cloaking script I wrote a few years ago. Basically it'll help you convert the 300+ character Amazon affiliate links into a shorter URL, which is easier to manage. The script itself is written in CGI and isn't anything great, but it does what it's supposed to do (cloak affiliate links).

Cons

I was attempting to use the 'auto post' route to keep traffic to the blog increasing, but over the months I didn't keep tabs on things, and some of the auto-posted content wasn't completely relevant. I've removed a dozen or so irrelevant posts, created redirects to tidy things up some, etc, but there are likely a few more posts that need to be removed.


Process

• After confirmed purchase, I will transfer the domain to your control via Namecheap.
• You can submit your Amazon Associate ID to me, and I will swap out all of mine (about 8 different IDs on this site) for yours.
• I will give you a download containing the files, database info, etc.
• If you want, I will spend up to another 1 hour 'tidying up' the auto-posted content that doesn't fit. All posts are monetized, however.
• That's it -- I'll keep the account active for 30 days after payment just in case, but I prefer that you change the nameservers as soon as you can after I swap the Amazon affiliate IDs.
