I know everything that I must do to build a blog to make money, with the exception of the most important part; what keywords to target? I have read that the best keywords are ones with over $2.00 CPC and over 10,000 searches, but with low competition. How do I find these keywords? I don't mean a tool. I have researched many keywords and they all either have a lot of competition of barely any CPC. What is the trick to finding the best keywords? I have tried the whole "group of people">"interests">"keywords", but all of the ones I explore lead the the above results. Help, please.
I made an interesting discovery: Instead of typing just the keywords into Google, use "keyword" and you will get the results of people competing for ONLY the keyword phrase, rather than "key" and "word", for example (pretending it is two words of course). This alone made my competition results go from the 10 millions to hundred thousands. Wish I had discovered that before. I do also have another question; can you profit off of a blog that targets keywords for people buying stuff? "Chairs", for example? (Obviously just and example, considering the competition for a single word, but people looking up chair are trying to buy chairs, so would a blog stand a chance?)
Does this make a big difference? the "keyword" thing I mean. sure it cuts down the amount of competition resuts but that doesn't mean you can beat the results that do come up. for example: my site MortgageLasVegasNevada.com comes up #8 on a search for "mortgage las vegas nevada" but comes in at 90ish for a regular mortgage las vegas nevada search.
if your site is having good status then choose high density keywords, other wise low density keywords will be profitable for you.
